Amanda received a highly valued and extensive education from the original Paul Mitchell The School. After graduating She immediately went to work at a top rated Aveda Salon. Following that she opened Studio Eleven with another talented stylist. Throughout the last Fifteen years Amanda has been able to further her skills and attend frequent education classes taught by the industry’s leading stylists. Upon high school graduation, Darlene attended Napa’s Le Melange Academy of Hair. After some time working in wine country, she decided it was time for opportunity and training-and Walnut Creek seemed like the right option. For five years, Darlene worked at an Aveda salon, and has gained expert knowledge in both color and cutting through Aveda and Vidal Sassoon courses. Darlene is versed in a plethora of product lines and products. This hard-working, passionate, patient, and creative stylist also enjoys problem solving. Darlene will not only bring your vision to life, but will make sure that it works for you on an every day basis as well. “I love figuring out what my clients’ needs are, and what will really work for them at home,” she says. LACIE MULLIKIN/PRESS
Stylist/Colorist
“I believe a new hair color can make someone feel great about themselves.” –Lacie Mullikin. After high school, Lacie immediately wanted to become a hairstylist. She attended cosmetology school, obtained her license, and went straight to training for one year at an Aveda salon in Walnut Creek. Lacie then moved to Los Angeles, assisting at a high-end Manhattan Beach salon. This opened many new channels of knowledge for her; she learned to perfect her blowouts and creative coloring, such as the popular “ombre” style. After two years of this extensive training, Lacie returned to Walnut Creek to work at the salon where it all began. These days, Lacie has completed the Vidal Sassoon cutting course, and has learned product and color lines such as Davines, Schwarzkopf, and Sachajuan. “With thirteen years under my belt, I’m still training and taking classes as often as I get a chance,” she says. “Being able to customize or correct someone’s color is my true passion. We know that life sometimes gets in the way. That’s why we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to cancelling appointments. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your set appointment, we’ll do our best to set up a better slot for you, no questions asked. If you cancel less than 24 hours before you may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of your schedule services.
